Steering Column Switch Module Trim

Removing

-

Pull steering wheel with adjuster all the way out and adjust downward.

-

Remove steering wheel.

-

Four-spoke steering wheel through 05.04.

-

Three-spoke steering wheel through 05.04.

-

Four-spoke steering wheel from 06.04.

-

Three-spoke steering wheel from 06.04.

CAUTION:  The spiral spring/return spring with slip ring must not be rotated out of center position (secure in installation position
with adhesive tape).

-

Remove drivers side storage compartment.

Upper steering column trim:

-

Remove gap cover - 1 - in - direction of arrow -.

-

Remove upper part of steering column trim upward from lower part - arrows -.

-

Remove gap cover and disengage upper part of steering column trim from lower part.
