Windshield Wiper Motor With Wiper Motor Control Module, From 06.2008

The Wiper Motor Control Module J400 is integrated in the windshield wiper motor.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

-

Pry lever 80-200

Observe notes on contact corrosion .

Removing

-

Remove wiper arms .

-

Remove the spray nozzles - arrow -.

-

Push the spray jet with the lines connected through the opening in the plenum chamber.

-

Remove the seal - 1 -.

CAUTION:
Danger of damaging the plenum chamber cover.

Coat the transition between the windshield and cowl panel trim - 2 - with some soapy water and carefully pull the cowl panel trim
vertically out of the retainer on the windshield beginning at the edge of the window.

Remove plenum chamber cover - 2 - by carefully removing cover from retainer on windshield.
