t  Rear window adjustment tool -V.A.G 1739-
–  Removing rear side trim → Rep. Gr.70
–  Removing front door trim → Rep. Gr.70
  Note
The adjustment operations are described for the rear windows by way of example and can be employed in the same manner for the door windows.

Adjusting lateral angle
–  Use rear window adjustment tool -V.A.G 1739- to unfasten lock nuts -1- of collared adjusting screws.
–  Adjust angle by turning hexagon socket -2-.
–  Tighten lock nut.

Adjusting longitudinal angle and closing height
–  Slacken off the bolts -arrows-.
–  Move side window in groove of convertible top seal.
–  Tighten the bolts.

Checking setting
–  With the convertible top closed, check whether the raised windows move into the seals at the front and rear -arrow-.
Tightening torques → Chapter
