| Electrical wiring harness does not need to be detached from seat pan. |

| Move backrest to rear and place on soft surface. |

| Remove backrest cover and padding → Chapter. |

| Cut out area -A- from old heating element together with electrical connection wire. |

| Remove old connection wire. |

| Cut electrical connection wires leading to heating elements at backrest bolsters at positions -B-. |

| Cut electrical connection wires leading to upper backrest heating element at positions -C-. |
| –
| Align new heating elements on backrest surface, pull off protective cover and bond new heating elements firmly onto padded surfaces (in same position as old heating elements). |

| Route connection wires to backrest bolsters through slots in seat padding (avoid crossing wires). |
