| Carefully clean all joints and surrounding areas before disconnecting. |

| Set down parts removed on a clean surface (use sheeting or paper, not fluffy cloths) and cover over. |

| Carefully cover or seal opened components if repairs are not to be performed immediately. |

| Only install clean components: |

| Leave replacement parts in packaging until immediately prior to installation. |

| Do not use parts that have been stored loose (e.g. in tool boxes). |

| When fuel system is open: |

| Do not work with compressed air. |

| Do not switch on auxiliary heater (also applies to switch-on via self-diagnosis “Basic setting” function). |
