Control sequence at ambient temperatures greater than 0 °C or after starting engine > < Control sequence on start-up of auxiliary heater (also as supplementary heater)
Control sequence at low ambient temperatures
Control sequence at low ambient temperatures
Ambient temperature less than 0 °C, auxiliary heater does not switch to control interval

  Note
t  For a description of the relevant components, refer to → Chapter.
t  For a description of items “A” to ”f2” , refer to → Chapter (control sequence on start-up of auxiliary heater).
G = Switchover from full load operation to control mode (part load operation)
g = Control mode (duration temperature-dependent)
H = OFF signal for auxiliary heater (supplementary heater), start of optical run-on (burn-off)
–  The auxiliary heater control unit -J364- receives the request for deactivation as auxiliary heater (or supplementary heater) via the convenience data bus; h = optical run-on (max. 20 seconds)
–  Until flame goes out
I = The flame monitor signals “not bright”, switchover from optical to electrical run-on (to blow out the remaining combustion gases)
i = Run-on for cleaning combustion chamber (approx. 50 seconds)
K = Switchover from electrical run-on to run-on for cooling
k = Run-on to prevent an increase in coolant temperature in auxiliary heater (approx. 50 seconds)
L = End of run-on, auxiliary heater off
