Removing and installing selector lever lock solenoidN110 on vehicles with vehicle ID No. from 8E_8A 002700 onwards
Removing and installing selector lever lock solenoid -N110- on vehicles with vehicle ID No. from 8E_8A 002700 onwards
   
Removing
–  Remove selector lever handle → Chapter.
  A37-10399
–  Remove selector mechanism cover -1- → Chapter.
–  Unplug electrical connector at selector lever lock solenoid -N110-.
–  Press retaining hook -A- into selector mechanism -arrow- and hold in.
  Note
The shift unit must be renewed if the retaining hook -A- breaks off.

–  Tilt bottom part of selector lever lock solenoid -N110- out in direction of -arrow- so that ball head -1- disengages from operating lever on selector mechanism.
–  Detach selector lever lock solenoid -N110-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in reverse sequence; note the following:
–  Turn ball head -1- into correct installation position.
–  Insert selector lever lock solenoid -N110- into selector mechanism at an angle from above.
–  Tilt bottom part of selector lever lock solenoid -N110- in opposite direction of -arrow-.

–  Ball head -1- must engage fully in operating lever on selector mechanism.
–  Secure selector lever lock solenoid -N110- with retaining hook -A-.
–  Install selector mechanism cover -1- → Chapter.
–  Install selector lever handle → Chapter.
–  Check function of selector lever lock solenoid -N110- → Chapter.
