Lubricate all bearings and moving surfaces with polycarbamide grease -G 052 142 A2-.
   
1 - Rubber seal
2 - Extension
q   Attached to shift unit and secured with bolts → Item
3 - Bolt, 2 Nm
q   4x
4 - Shift unit
5 - Selector lever lock solenoid -N110-
q   → Chapter „Removing and installing selector lever lock solenoid -N110- (vehicles from VIN 8E_6A156500 onwards)“
6 - Noise insulation
q   Not fitted on all vehicles
7 - Retaining washers
q   4x, always renew
q   For securing noise insulation to shift unit
8 - Retaining clip
q   Secures selector lever cable to shift unit
9 - Selector lever cable
q   → Chapter „Removing and installing selector lever cable (vehicles from VIN 8E_6A156500 onwards)“
q   Adjusting → Chapter
10 - O-ring
q   Always renew
