Note Should you need to remove the chain sprocket for auxiliary drives, you must first loosen the securing bolt before removing the chain. |

| Mark running direction of chain for auxiliary drives with paint. |

| Unscrew bolts -2 … 5- and remove chain tensioner. |

| Remove chain for auxiliary drives. |
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following: |

| First fit chain for auxiliary drives. |

| Fit chain tensioner onto engine (starting at top). |

| Install engine: vehicles with manual gearbox → Chapter; vehicles with automatic gearbox → Chapter. |

| Fill up with engine oil and check oil level → Chapter. |
