Activating/deactivating service mode
Activating/deactivating service mode
  WARNING
t  Telephone/telematics control unit -J526- must be set to service mode before disconnecting battery.
t  Otherwise, the emergency battery for telematics -A16- in telephone/telematics control unit -J526- will be drained.
Activating service mode
Telematics system is activated.
–  Press following sequence of buttons on telephone handset -R37-: -#4610#-.
–  Confirm entry on telephone handset -R37- by pressing the Navi button.
Display shows:
   
Exit
service mode

Service mode is activated; battery -A- can be disconnected.
Deactivating service mode
Battery -A- connected.
Display shows:
   
Exit
service mode

–  Press the Navi button on the telephone handset -R37-.
Service mode is deactivated.
