Note:

Door shell at rear must be adjusted first or must be already adjusted.

Joint dimensions:

• ‒ → The gaps are adjusted by loosening the hinge screws on the A-pillar and sliding the door (oversized drilled holes in hinge).
• ‒ a =4 mm±0.5
• ‒ b=5 mm±0.5
• ‒ c=3.5 mm-0.5/+1

Adjusting to body contour:

• ‒ The gaps are adjusted by releasing the hinge screws on door shell and sliding the door (oversized drilled holes in hinge).

Note:

Rear part of door is adjusted at striker plate (towards centre of vehicle) =>Fig.1.

• ‒ → Release bolts.
• ‒ Move striker plate until door shell is flush with body contour.
• ‒ Tighten bolts.
  Tightening torque 20 Nm.

Note:

Adjustment can only be made towards centre of vehicle and not for height.
