Removing and installing combination valve for secondary air system

Removing

–	Release quick-release fasteners and remove engine cover panel -arrows-.

–	Unplug electrical connector -1- at coolant temperature sender -G2-/coolant temperature sender -G62-.

–	Move clear electrical wiring harness at bulkhead.

–	Detach vacuum hose -arrow- from combination valve for secondary air system.

Note

For illustration purposes, the installation position is shown from the rear and with the engine removed.

–	Remove 4 bolts and detach combination valve for secondary air system.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

t	Renew seals and/or gaskets.

t	Secure all hose connections with the correct type of hose clips (same as original equipment) → Electronic parts catalogue.
