Removing

• ‒ Remove flange => Removing fuel delivery unit, from Page 20-34.
• ‒ Pull out flange carefully and place to one side with hoses connected.
• ‒ Unplug connector for fuel gauge sender on inside of flange.

• ‒ → Press retaining tab and at the same time pull sender unit out of baffle housing in fuel tank -arrows-.

Note:

The baffle housing is shown without the fuel tank for a clearer illustration.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order, when doing this note the following:

• ‒ Insert fuel gauge sender into guide on outer section of baffle housing and press down until it clicks into place.
• ‒ Install flange => Page 20-38; observe notes on procedure for connecting battery.
