Making openings for telephone handset cradle in centre console
Making openings for telephone handset cradle in centre console
When supplied as replacement parts, centre consoles do not have openings for the telephone handset cradle. The openings have to be made by the workshop.
–  Remove centre console:
t  Removing and installing centre console - USA vehicles up to 10.2004 and RoW vehicles → Chapter
t  Removing and installing centre console - USA vehicles from 11.2004 onwards → Chapter
   
–  Make openings with the following dimensions:
a - 10 mm
b - 6 mm
c - 22 mm
d - 101 mm
e - 25 mm
f - 16 mm
g - 5 mm
h - 8 mm
–  Clip threaded moulding → Item into centre console from rear and screw on cradle (1.5 Nm).
  Note
After assembly, make sure that glove box lid can be opened.
