Removing and installing backrest adjuster

Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Assembly tool -3399-
  W00-0165
t  Removing
–  Turn backrest adjuster -1- until retainer is visible from rear -arrow A-. Use torch if necessary.
–  Hook in assembly tool -3399--2- and lever in direction of -arrow B-.
–  Turn backrest adjuster a further 120 °.
–  Hook in assembly tool -3399--2- and lever in direction of -arrow B-.
–  Remove backrest adjuster.
t  Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
–  Renew backrest adjuster if it is too loose after assembly.
