| – | Remove seat → Chapter. |
| – | Attach seat repair stand -VAS 6136- to engine and gearbox support -VAS 6095-. |
| – | Attach front seat to seat repair stand -VAS 6136-. |
| – | Remove drawer/storage compartment (hinged compartment): |
| t | Removing and installing drawer (up to 06.2006) → Chapter |
| t | Removing and installing storage compartment (hinged compartment) (from 06.2006 onwards) → Chapter |
| – | Detach seat cover and padding from seat pan → Chapter. |
| – | Detach seat cushion extension from seat cover and padding → Chapter. |
| t | Installing |
| Install in reverse order of removal. |

| t | Removing |
| – | Remove bolts -4- (4x). |
| – | Detach handle -5-. |
