| – | Remove sun visors (left and right) → Chapter. |
| – | Remove centre bracket for sun visor -7-. |
| – | Unclip cap -8-. |
| – | Unfasten both clips and release fastener beneath. |
| – | Take out centre bracket for sun visor. |
| – | Remove trim for A-pillar (top right and top left) → Chapter. |
| – | Remove B-pillar trim (top) → Chapter. |
| – | Remove roof end trim → Chapter. |
| – | Remove D-pillar trim (left and right) → Chapter. |
| – | Remove rear interior/reading light -6- → Electrical system; Rep. gr.96. |
| – | Open sunroof if fitted. |
| – | Remove sunroof frame -2-. |
| – | Remove make-up mirror light (left and right) → Electrical system; Rep. gr.96. |
| – | Remove front interior/reading light -5- → Electrical system; Rep. gr.96. |
| – | Unclip cover at base of interior mirror and unplug connector to interior mirror → Fig. |
| – | Move gear lever/selector lever to front position. |
| – | Move backrest of front passenger's seat to rearmost position. |
| – | Move backrest of driver's seat to rearmost position. |
| A second mechanic is required to support moulded headliner. |
| – | Unfasten clip -3- at back of moulded headliner. |
| – | On models with sunroof, slacken off bolt -4- at front of headliner. |
| – | To remove cable at moulded headliner, get out of vehicle and while doing so carefully lower moulded headliner onto seats. |
| – | Disconnect wiring harness from A-pillar if necessary. |
| – | Separate wiring harness from moulded headliner → Chapter. |
| – | Take out moulded headliner through rear door. |
| t | Installing: |
| – | Carefully slide in moulded headliner through rear door. |
| – | Attach wiring harness to moulded headliner → Chapter. |
Note| When installing keep to correct sequence, as roof trim can otherwise not be centred correctly. |
| – | Clip in brackets for sun visors. |
| – | Clip in sunroof trim frame -2-. |
| – | If applicable, screw in bolt -4- at sunroof. |
| – | Secure moulded headliner at rear at clip -3-. |
| Remaining installation is performed in reverse order of removal. |
