Removing and installing over-centre spring
Removing and installing over-centre spring
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Assembly clip -T40025-
Removing
–  Remove storage compartment on driver's side → Rep. Gr.68.
  W00-1170
–  Tension over-centre spring with clutch pedal, at the same time pressing on assembly clip -T40025-.
–  Move clutch pedal to rest position and take out over-centre spring together with assembly clip -T40025- downwards.
Installing
–  Pull clutch pedal into the passenger compartment.
Installation position of over-centre spring:
t  Black side of over-centre spring points towards clutch pedal.

–  Install over-centre spring with assembly clip -T40025-, operate clutch pedal and remove assembly clamp.
