Removing and installing multifunction switch F125 > < Removing and installing internal oil pipe

Procedure
–  Remove multifunction switch -F125- → Chapter.
–  Prise selector lever cable off selector shaft lever -arrow- using removal lever -80 - 200-.

–  Drive out roll pin -1- at selector shaft lever -2- towards the front -arrow- (as seen in direction of travel) until it is possible to detach selector shaft lever from selector shaft.

–  Push a small screwdriver through the oil seal and pull it out.
–  Lubricate the outer circumference and the space between sealing lips with ATF.
l  Installation position: open side of oil seal points towards gearbox

–  Push new oil seal onto assembly sleeve -3385- and drive in until assembly sleeve reaches stop, ensuring that seal remains straight.
–  Before installing, drive the roll pin in the selector shaft lever back through the lever in the opposite direction.
–  Push selector shaft lever onto selector shaft and drive in roll pin.

–  Push selector shaft lever -2- on gearbox forwards as far as it will go (in opposite direction to -arrow-).
–  Shift selector lever to “S” and carefully press ball head of selector lever cable -1- onto selector shaft lever, using pliers or similar.
  Note
Make sure you do not bend the selector shaft lever when pressing on the cable, as this would make it impossible to obtain an accurate adjustment of the selector mechanism.
–  Install multifunction switch -F125- → Chapter.
