Removing and installing exhaust temperature sender 1 -G235-
   
Removing
  Note
All cable ties which are released or cut open when removing must be fitted in the same position when installing.
–  Unclip cover caps.
–  Unscrew nuts -arrows- and detach engine cover panel. Also pull out dipstick if necessary.
–  Remove insulation beneath cover panel (if fitted).

–  Remove bolts -arrows-.
–  Remove air ducts -1- and -2-.

–  Unplug electrical connector -1- at air mass meter -G70-.
–  Loosen hose clip -2- to remove air intake hose.
–  Move clear wiring harness at air cleaner housing and remove air cleaner housing -arrow-.

–  Unplug electrical connector -1-.
–  Move aside fuel hoses at air pipe.
–  Remove bolt -2-.
–  Remove air pipe -arrows-.

–  Remove electrical connector -1- for exhaust gas temperature sender 1 -G235- from bracket (left-side) at plenum chamber partition panel.
–  Unplug electrical connector and move wiring clear towards bottom of vehicle.

–  Unscrew exhaust gas temperature sender 1 -G235--arrow- from exhaust manifold.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

Fit all cable ties in the original positions when installing.
  A26-10179
–  When installing air intake hoses with plug-in connectors, ensure that the securing clip -arrow- engages audibly on the retaining lug -A-.
