Removing and installing satellite radioR146 (Avant) from MY 05
Removing and installing satellite radio -R146- (Avant) from MY 05
–  When renewing control unit, select “Replacement” function for appropriate control unit in “Guided Fault Finding”.
To do so, use the vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 5051-.
–  Switch off all electrical equipment.
–  Remove ignition key.
Removing
–  Open luggage compartment.
   
–  Pull retainer -3- out of base retainer -4- until connectors are accessible.
–  Unplug connectors on satellite radio -R146--2-.
–  Pull retainer -3- all the way out of base retainer -4-.
–  Remove bolt -1- (3 Nm).
–  Detach satellite radio -R146--2- from retainer -3-.
Installing
–  Installation is performed in reverse sequence.
–  Enable the satellite radio -R146- → Chapter.
