When travelling in countries where the vehicle is to be driven on the other side of the road, both headlights must be adjusted to prevent dazzling by the asymmetric dipped beam.
Sequence of operations
–  Connect vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 5051B-.
  Note
If a fault message appears on the display, refer to → Operating instructions of vehicle diagnostic, testing and information systemVAS 5051B.
–  Switch on ignition.

Display on -VAS 5051B-:
–  Select Guided Functions-item 4- from menu.

Display on -VAS 5051B-:
–  Enter vehicle identification by touching the appropriate message line -1- in accordance with the selection prompt -A-.
The vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 5051B- then switches to the next selection step:

If vehicle identification has been implemented correctly, press → key to confirm 
Select vehicle system/function (example)55 - Dynamic headlight range control
Select vehicle system/functionJ431 - Headlight range control unit, tourist option for headlights

–  Continue to follow instructions on display of vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system -VAS 5051B-.
On completion of headlight resetting:
–  Press Go to key.
–  Select “End” function in list.
   
Display on -VAS 5051B-:
–  Switch off ignition and unplug diagnostic connector when this display appears.
