Removing and installing mounting for mirror adjustment unit
Removing and installing mounting for mirror adjustment unit
Removing
–  Remove door trim and trim for window frame → Rep. gr.70.
–  Remove trim and bracket for treble loudspeaker → Rep. gr.70.
   
–  Pull catch -3- towards rear -arrow A-, push release mechanism -4- downwards and unplug electrical connector.
–  Lever grommet -2- out of exterior mirror seal.
–  In area of exterior mirror, detach retaining lugs from door.
–  Lift exterior mirror seal -1- off door and at the same time unscrew bolts -arrows-.
–  Detach mounting for mirror adjustment unit and at the same time guide wiring harness out through opening in body.
Installing
l  Tightening torque → Chapter
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Install exterior mirror seal.
–  Install bracket and trim for treble loudspeaker → Rep. gr.70.
–  Install door trim → Rep. gr.70.
