Removing and installing window regulator
   
Removing and installing window regulator
1 - Mounting (bottom) for window regulator
2 - Bolt
q   Only loosen to remove window
3 - Window regulator
q   Removing:
q   Door trim removed → Rep. gr.70
q   Window regulator motor removed → Chapter
q   Door window removed → Chapter
q   Cover for inner door panel removed → Chapter
–  Release threaded pin for window regulator motor and push through inner panel.
–  Loosen nut (top), but do not remove.
–  Unscrew bottom nut and lift window regulator out of door.
4 - Nut
q   Unscrew to remove window regulator.
5 - Door
–  Remove door trim → Rep. gr.70.

   
Mounting (bottom) for window regulator
–  Slacken bottom bolt -2- and lift window regulator -1- out of mounting -3- in direction of -arrow-.

Removing
–  Remove window regulator motor → Chapter.
–  Remove door window → Chapter.
–  Remove bass loudspeaker → Rep. gr.91.
–  Use an 11 mm socket attachment to release retaining clips of threaded pins -arrow- for window regulators, positioning socket attachment on threaded pin to do so.
–  Unfasten clip -1- for cable -2- from cable guide -1- from the inside.

–  Take out sealing plugs -1, 3, 6-.
–  Unscrew nuts -2- (top).
–  Slacken bolts -5- at bottom of window regulator cable guide.
–  Lift window regulator -4- out of door.

Installing
l  Tightening torque → Chapter
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
l  Retaining clips of threaded pins -arrow- for window regulator must engage in inner door panel.
–  Install bass loudspeaker → Rep. gr.91.
–  Install door window → Chapter.
–  Install window regulator motor → Chapter.
