  Note
On vehicles with lane departure warning, the camera must be recalibrated after renewing the windscreen → Rep. gr.44.
   
1 - Windscreen
q   Distance from roof: Dimension -a- = 2 mm
q   Align side dimension -c-.
2 - Adhesive bead
q   Note minimum drying time → Anchor.
l  Dimension -b- = 17 mm± 2 mm
l  Dimension -d- = 8 mm± 2 mm
l  Dimension -e- = 12 mm± 2 mm
3 - Trim cover
q   Not available as a separate replacement part
l  When removing windscreen, pull in cutting wire underneath trim cover.
4 - Water deflector strip
5 - Surround for plenum chamber cover
q   Not available as a separate replacement part
q   With a new windscreen, the protective beading must be pulled out before fitting the plenum chamber cover.
6 - Plenum chamber cover
q   Allow glass adhesive to dry (3 hours) before pressing plenum chamber cover into retaining strip.

   
Removing water deflector strip
1 - Pop rivet
q   5x
q   Start from top when riveting guide rail.
2 - Guide rail
q   To remove, drill out rivet heads -4- and knock out rivets
3 - Water deflector strip
q   Press all the way into guide rail starting at top and working down.
q   Ensure flush fit at transition to A-pillar.

   
Removing protective beading
–  Before fitting plenum chamber cover -4- when new windscreen -1- is installed, protective beading -2- must be removed from the surround -3-.
