Removing and installing lock cylinder for flap for load-through hatch
   
Removing
–  Fold open centre armrest.
  Caution
Only remove and install lock cylinder with key properly inserted. Otherwise, tumblers and springs could drop out and lock cylinder will not function properly.
–  Properly insert key -3- in lock cylinder -2-.
–  Turn key 90° (anti-clockwise).
–  Swivel handle of flap for load-through hatch -1- upwards as far as it will go.
–  Release fasteners -bottom arrows- and press lock cylinder with key out of handle.
  Note
-Top arrow- can be disregarded.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
  Caution
t  Only remove and install lock cylinder with key properly inserted. Otherwise, tumblers and springs could drop out and lock cylinder will not function properly.
t  Observe correct installation position when installing lock cylinder. Backrest will not lock properly if installation position is incorrect.

–  Properly insert key -3- in new lock cylinder -2-.
–  Pull protective cap -4- off new lock cylinder.
–  Insert lock cylinder in handle of flap for load-through hatch -1-, observing correct installation position.
l  Installation position of lock cylinder: Slot for key must be vertical, and retaining tab -top arrow- must face to the right (opposing direction of travel).
–  Turn key 90° (clockwise).
  Note
Make sure lock cylinder engages properly with fasteners -bottom arrows-.
