Removing and installing window frame trim
Removing and installing window frame trim
  Note
Removal and installation are identical on the left and right.
Special tools and workshop equipment required

Removing
–  Lower door window.
–  Remove treble loudspeaker trim → Chapter.
–  Equipment version with treble loudspeaker: Remove treble loudspeaker → Rep. gr.91.
–  Equipment version with lane change assist: Remove button for lane change assist -E530- → Electrical system; Rep. gr.96.
–  Starting at bottom inner section and working over entire length, carefully prise off window frame trim -1- along window frame seal -arrow A- using removal wedge -3409-.
–  At the same time pull window frame trim downwards off window frame -arrow B- and detach.

Installing
–  Insert window frame trim -1- into window frame seal -2- at top rear -arrow-.
Perform remaining installation in reverse order of removal.
