Removing and installing rear lid trim
Removing and installing rear lid trim
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Removal lever -80 - 200-
  W00-0353
Removing
–  Remove bracket for warning triangle → Chapter.
–  Remove trim for rear lid lock → Chapter.
–  Use a screwdriver to unclip stop strips.
–  Remove bolt -2-.
–  Prise off rear lid trim -1- using removal lever -80 - 200--arrows-.
–  Disengage rear lid trim at hinges and detach.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

t  If there are still trim clips in the rear lid mounting points, they must be removed and inserted in the trim when installing.
t  Check the clips for damage or deformation and renew them if necessary.
–  Position rear lid trim and press on until it engages audibly.
Tightening torque → Chapter
