Removing and installing floor covering
Removing
–  Remove front seats:
t  Standard seat and sports seat (with manual adjustment) → Chapter „Removing and installing front standard seat (with manual adjustment)“.
t  Standard seat, sports seat (with electric adjustment), convenience seat and super sports seat → Chapter „Removing and installing front standard seat (with electric adjustment)“.
–  Remove seat bench → Chapter.
–  Remove dash panel cover (driver side) → Chapter.
–  Remove centre console → Chapter.
–  Remove bracket for centre console and lower shift mechanism → Chapter.
–  Remove air duct leading to vent in centre console (rear) at centre tunnel → Rep. gr.87.
–  Remove sill panel trim panels (front) → Chapter.
–  Remove sill panel trim panels (rear) → Chapter.
–  Remove B-pillar trim panels (bottom) → Chapter.
   
–  Disengage floor covering at retainers -1- and -2-.
–  Pull floor covering -3- to rear.
  Note
Make sure that floor covering does not tear at openings.
–  Fold up floor covering lengthwise and take it out through one of the doors.
Installing
–  Fold up floor covering lengthwise and place it in vehicle.
–  First slide floor covering to front until hole patterns of air duct and shift mechanism coincide.
–  Then engage floor covering at retainers -1- and -2-.
Perform remaining installation in reverse order of removal.
