  Note
t  Install complete repair kit when servicing.
t  New brake calipers are filled with brake fluid and are pre-bled.
t  Apply a thin coat of assembly paste -G 052 150 A2- to brake cylinder, piston and seal.
   
1 - Caps
q   Detach when removing guide pins
q   Re-install after fitting guide pins
2 - Guide pin
q   30 Nm
q   Renewing → Chapter
3 - Bleeder valve
q   Before screwing in, grease thread with thin coat of assembly paste -G 052 150 A2-.
q   10 Nm
4 - Protective cap
q   Push onto bleeder valve
5 - Brake caliper housing
6 - Retaining spring
q   Insert with both ends in the holes in brake caliper housing
  Note
The retaining spring must be pressed under the brake carrier after inserting into both holes. If incorrectly installed, the wear of the outer pad cannot be adjusted, and the pedal travel will be increased as a result.
7 - Bearing bush
q   Insert into brake caliper housing
q   Renewing → Chapter
8 - Brake carrier
q   Bolt to brake caliper housing
9 - Seal
10 - Piston
q   Apply a thin coat of assembly paste -G 052 150 A2- to piston before inserting
q   Diameter 57 mm
11 - Protective cap
q   Do not damage when inserting piston
