Removing and installing centre vent temperature senderG191
Removing and installing centre vent temperature sender -G191-
  Note
The centre vent temperature sender -G191- is only fitted on vehicles with an air conditioner of the „Basic“ type.
Removing
–  Switch off the ignition.
–  Remove the radio -R- or the CD changer (depending on vehicle equipment) → Electrical system; Rep. gr.90.
   
–  Reach through the radio mounting slot and unplug the connector -A-.
–  Give the sender -B- a 90° turn and pull it out of the air duct to the „centre“ dash panel vents.
Installing
Install in reverse order; paying attention to the following:
–  Check the seal -C- for damage and proper attachment.
–  Re-install all the parts removed in reverse order.
–  Switch on the ignition.
–  Interrogate the event recorder of the operating and display unit, Climatronic control unit -J255- and erase any faults displayed → "Guided fault-finding" function of vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051.
