Checking supplementary and auxiliary heater temperature sensor 2G587

l  Preparation for checking auxiliary heater components performed → Chapter
   
–  Detach the connector housing -2- from the supplementary heater control unit -J364--3 -.
  N82-10151
–  Measure the resistance between contact “7” and contact “8” at the white wires.
R = Resistance in k Ω (kiloohms).
t = Temperature in °C (centigrade)
–  Measure the resistance at the current temperature.
Evaluation:
t  Resistance value greater than 2 M Ω (megaohms) = Open circuit (defective).
t  Resistance less than 50 Ω = Short circuit (defective).
