  Caution
Risk of malfunction
The travel of the clutch pedal and the brake pedal must not be restricted due to additional floor mats or the like.
   
  Note
t  Apply grease -G 000 450 02- to all bearings and contact surfaces.
t  Make sure that no brake fluid escapes into the footwell, the plenum chamber or onto the gearbox below. If this does happen, clean the affected area thoroughly.

q   Clutch pedal switch -F36- and clutch pedal switch for engine start -F194- are integrated
q   Can only be renewed together with clutch master cylinder → Item

Installing over-centre spring
–  Clip bearing -1- into corresponding position on clutch pedal.
  A34-10639

t  Vehicles with 6-cyl. TDI engine
l  „II“-arrow B-
t  Not used on vehicles with »0B3 gearbox«

–  Insert over-centre spring with assembly clip -T40025-.
l  White side of over-centre spring faces bearing -1-.
