Removing and installing coolant temperature senderG62
Removing and installing coolant temperature sender -G62-
   
Removing
l  Engine cold.
–  Open filler cap on coolant expansion tank briefly to allow residual pressure in cooling system to dissipate and close cap, making sure it engages.

–  Lift off engine cover panel (front) -1-.
  A10-11070
–  Unplug electrical connector -1- at coolant temperature sender -G62-.
  Note
Place a cloth underneath to catch escaping coolant.
–  Pull off retaining clip -2- and detach coolant temperature sender -G62-.
  Note
Disregard -arrow-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

t  Fit new O-ring.
t  Insert new coolant temperature sender -G62- immediately into connection to avoid loss of coolant.
–  Check coolant level → Anchor.
