Removing and installing coolant pipe (top left) - vehicles with SCR catalytic converter

Removing

–	Drain coolant → Chapter.

–	Remove engine cover panel -arrows-.

–	Detach change-over valve for exhaust gas recirculation cooler -N345--item 1- from bracket.

–	Remove bolt -4- and mounting pin for engine cover panel -2-.

–	Move electrical wiring harness -3- clear at coolant pipe (top left).

–	Release hose clips -arrows- and detach coolant pipe (top left).

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:

l	Tightening torques → Chapter „Coolant pipes - exploded view“

Note

Secure all hose connections with the correct type of hose clips (same as original equipment) → Electronic parts catalogue.

–	Fill up with coolant → Anchor.
