Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Hose clamps for hoses up to 25 mm -3094-
  W00-0079
Removing
–  Remove intake manifold (top section) → Rep. gr.23.
–  Move electrical wiring harness on coolant pipe (top right) clear.
  A23-10191
–  Unplug electrical connector -1- at radiator outlet coolant temperature sender -G83-.
–  Clamp off coolant hoses -arrows- with hose clamps -3094- and disconnect hoses from coolant pipe (top right).
–  Detach coolant pipe (top right).
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
l  Tightening torque → Chapter „Coolant pipes - exploded view“
–  Install intake manifold (top section) → Rep. gr.23.
–  Check coolant level → Anchor.
