Removing and installing high-pressure pipe > < Checking fuel pressure and residual pressure (up to high-pressure pump)

1 - Fuel pressure sender for low pressure -G410-
q   15 Nm
2 - Seal
q   Renew
3 - Bolt
q   Hand-tighten in diagonal sequence, then tighten to 5 Nm
q   Final torque: 20 Nm
q   Do not tilt high-pressure pump
4 - High-pressure pump
q   With fuel metering valve -N290-
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   Do not dismantle
5 - Threaded connection
q   Connections must not be damaged
q   27 Nm
6 - Fuel supply hose
q   Low-pressure section
7 - High-pressure fuel pipe
  WARNING
There is a risk of injury: avoid skin contact with fuel.
The fuel pressure in the high-pressure section of the injection system must be reduced to a residual pressure prior to opening the system → Chapter.
q   Reducing fuel pressure in high-pressure section of injection system → Chapter
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
q   27 Nm
8 - Gasket
q   Renew
9 - Housing
10 - Hall sender -G40-
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
11 - Bolt
q   9 Nm
12 - O-ring
q   Renew
q   Lubricate lightly with clean engine oil before installing
13 - Protective plate
q   For high-pressure pipe
14 - Nut
q   9 Nm
15 - Centre hex stud
q   9 Nm
16 - Roller tappet
q   Can only be installed in one position
q   Lubricate lightly with clean engine oil before installing
17 - O-ring
q   Renew
q   Lubricate lightly with clean engine oil before installing
