Removing and installing display
Removing and installing display
Display unit for front information display and operating unit control unit -J685- (display) is located in dash panel (centre).
–  Switch off all electrical equipment.
–  Remove ignition key.
Removing
–  Remove cover for MMI screen → General body repairs, interior; Rep. gr.70.
   
–  Remove bolts -arrows- at display unit for front information display and operating unit control unit -J685--1-.
–  Lift display unit for front information display and operating unit control unit -J685--1- out of dash panel -2-.
–  Release and unplug connectors on display unit for front information display and operating unit control unit -J685-.
Installing
–  Install in reverse sequence of removal.
Tightening torques → Chapter
  A91-10991
