Removing and installing parking aid control unitJ446 - vehicles without towing bracket
Removing and installing parking aid control unit -J446- - vehicles without towing bracket
Depending on the version, the parking aid control unit is integrated in the onboard supply control unit -J519- from model year 2013 onwards and cannot be renewed separately in the event of a fault → Electronic parts catalogue.
–  Renew onboard supply control unit → Chapter.
–  When renewing control unit select „Replacement“ function for appropriate control unit in „Guided Fault Finding“ or „Guided Functions“ → Vehicle diagnostic tester.
   
Removing
–  Open cover in luggage compartment side trim (right-side).
–  Release retaining clip -2- and remove parking aid control unit -J446--item 1- from mounting frame.
–  Unplug electrical connectors -3 … 5-.
Installing
Install in reverse order.
