A4 Quattro Wagon L4-2.0L Turbo (BPG) (2005)

Install rubber boot in bulkhead (note installation position).
The lug on rubber boot must align with marking on body
Note:

Always replace rubber boot in bulkhead if damaged.

Make sure boot is properly positioned in bulkhead.

Insert bolt - 2 - but do not tighten.

Install and tighten bolt - 3

Tighten bolts - 1 - and - 2 -.

Release steering lock.

Move steering wheel to center position and then attach universal joint to steering pinion.

Tighten bolt - arrow -.

Remove assembly aid from steering column.

Install drivers side storage compartment.

On vehicles with 6-cylinder engine, install heat shield on drivers side.

Install plastic cover in wheel housing liner.
-
Attach electrical wire.
-
Install joint stubs of both upper links in wheel bearing housing and press down as far as possible by clamping using pliers T40067.
