Blower Motor Resistor: Service and Repair

Fresh Air Blower Control Module

‹› The Fresh Air Blower Control Module (J126) as a replacement part is available in different versions, make sure of the correct application.

‹› With ignition switched on and Fresh Air Blower ( V2) actuated, Fresh Air Blower Control Module ( J126) connects "Plus" from terminal "4" of

connector - C - to terminal "1" of connector -  B -. Fresh Air Blower (V2) speed is regulated by Fresh Air Blower Control Module (J126) via the
Ground (GND) connection between terminal "2" of connector -  B - and terminal "3" of connector - C -Refer to Wiring diagrams, Troubleshooting
& Component locations and Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS5051 in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.

Removing

-

Move the passenger seats as far back as possible.

-

Switch off ignition.

-

Remove glove compartment. 

-

Disconnect the connector - A - and - B -. 

-

Remove the screws - C -.

CAUTION!
Heat sink on Fresh Air Blower Control Module (J126 ) may be hot.

Remove the Fresh Air Blower Control Module (J126 ) - D - from the air intake housing.
