Disconnect exhaust system at double clamps - arrows -.
-
Remove bolts - arrows - for left and right transmission mount.

Place lifting surface of Engine/Transmission Jack (V.A.G 1383 A) centrally on lower housing base - arrow - and lift transmission slightly.
-
Remove heat shield for left transmission support.
