Remove nuts - 1 - and - 3 - which are accessible from bottom for front exhaust pipe/exhaust manifold.
‹› To improve clarity, the removed engine is shown.

Disconnect exhaust system at double clamps - arrows -.

Place lifting surface of Engine/Transmission Jack (V.A.G 1383 A) centrally on lower housing base - arrow - and support transmission from
below.
