Removing

With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) wire. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] See: Starting and
Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Battery.

Left headlamp:

-

Remove the windshield washer fluid reservoir upper section and the power steering fluid reservoir. Refer to => [ Windshield Wiper Fluid
Reservoir Upper Section and Power Steering Fluid Reservoir ] See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Windshield Washer Reservoir/Service and
Repair/Windshield Wiper Fluid Reservoir Upper Section and Power Steering Fluid Reservoir. 

Right headlamp - vehicles with 2.0L TFSI engine:

Remove air filter housing, refer to => [ 2.0L TFSI ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air
Cleaner Housing/Air Filter Element/Service and Repair.

Right headlamp - vehicles with 3.2L FSI engine:

-

Remove air filter housing, refer to => [ 3.2L FSI ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air
Cleaner Housing/Air Filter Element/Service and Repair.

Right headlamp - vehicles with 4.2L MPI engine:

Remove air filter housing, refer to => [ 4.2L MPI ] See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air
Cleaner Housing/Air Filter Element/Service and Repair.

Right headlamp - vehicles with 2.0L TDI engine:
