‹› With integrated Tiptronic switch (F189). 

‹› Removing and installing, refer to => [ Tiptronic Switch ] See: Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Sensors and Switches - A/T/Transmission

Position Switch/Sensor/Service and Repair.

‹› Switch consists of 3 Hall sensors, which are activated by a magnet on the transverse slide of the cover strip.

‹› If malfunctioning, start by checking whether the solenoid is correctly fixed on the cross slide masking panel => [ (Item 7) Cover strip ] ,

replace the masking panel if necessary.

‹› Before replacing the circuit board when DTC "18161" is entered in the DTC memory, first check the adjustment of the selector lever cable.
