Modifying thrust pieceT40099 for use with multitronic gearbox 0AW, front-wheel drive
Modifying thrust piece -T40099- for use with multitronic gearbox 0AW, front-wheel drive
   
Procedure
l  Input shaft is removed → Chapter
–  Place input shaft on thrust piece -T40099- so it is exactly centred.
–  Make paint markings -arrow- at the points where the dowel pins -1- make contact with the top ring of -T40099-.
l  The marked positions should be approximately half-way between the supports -2- of -T40099-.

–  Make a centre punch mark inside the marked area at a distance -a- = 6 mm from the inside edge and drill a Ø 11 mm hole.

–  Make two saw cuts as shown -arrows-.
–  Deburr saw cuts and drillings.
