Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Hose clamps for hoses up to 25 mm -3094-
  W00-0079
t  Hose clip pliers -VAS 6362-
  W00-10427
Removing
–  Remove engine cover panel -arrows-.
  A10-10890
–  Detach change-over valve for exhaust gas recirculation cooler -N345--item 1- from bracket.
–  Remove bolt -4- and ball stud -2-.
–  Move electrical wiring harness -3- clear at coolant pipe (rear left).
–  Clamp off coolant hoses using hose clamps -3094-, release hose clips -arrows- and disconnect hoses.
–  Detach coolant pipe (top left).
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
  Note
Secure all hose connections with the correct type of hose clips (same as original equipment) → Electronic parts catalogue.
–  Fill up with coolant → Anchor.
