Removing and installing mounting plate for engine oil cooler, pressure control valve for crankcase breather system and oil filter housing
Removing and installing mounting plate for engine oil cooler, pressure control valve for crankcase breather system and oil filter housing
   
Removing
–  Engine code CAPA: Remove high-pressure pump → Rep. gr.23.
–  Remove coolant pipe (top) → Chapter.
–  Remove pressure control valve for crankcase breather system → Chapter.

–  Unplug electrical connector -arrow- on oil pressure switch.

–  Remove bolts -arrows-.
–  Remove mounting plate for engine oil cooler, pressure control valve for crankcase breather system and oil filter housing.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
l  Tightening torque → Chapter „Engine oil cooler, pressure control valve, oil filter housing and oil pressure switch - exploded view“
  Note
t  Renew gaskets, seals and O-rings.
t  To ensure top coolant pipe is free of leaks, remove top coolant pipe and renew O-ring → Chapter.
–  Tighten securing bolts for mounting plate, working from inside to outside.
–  Install pressure control valve for crankcase breather system → Chapter.
–  Install coolant pipe (top) → Chapter.
–  Engine code CAPA: Install high-pressure pump → Rep. gr.23.
–  Change engine oil → Booklet811, → Booklet812 or → Booklet818.
