Amplifier: Service and Repair

Amplifier

The Amplifier (R12) is located behind the luggage compartment left side trim.

The Amplifier (R12) is attached to the bottom side of the Infotainment rack.

-

Turn off all electrical consumers.

-

Remove ignition key.

Removing

Vehicles with luggage compartment storage bin:

-

Open left luggage compartment storage bin.

Vehicles without luggage compartment storage bin:

-

Remove left luggage compartment side trim.

All vehicles:

-

Loosen nuts - 2 - and - 4 - (5 Nm) and screw - 1 - (5 Nm) on Infotainment rack - 3 -. 

-

Tip rack into luggage compartment until nuts on Amplifier (R12) can be reached.

-

Disconnect connector on Amplifier (R12).
