Spring clamp

‹› Check for damage

‹› Do not twist after adjusting toe

‹› Can be replaced with steering gear installed

Clamp

‹› Always replace

‹› Clamping Sleeves, Installing => [ Clamping Sleeves, Installing: ] See: Tie Rod/Service and Repair/Tie Rods

Tie Rod

‹› 100 Nm

‹› Removing and installing, refer to => [ Tie Rods ] See: Tie Rod/Service and Repair/Tie Rods

‹› Grease joint with steering gear grease.

Power Steering Gear

‹› Grease joint with steering gear grease.

Socket head bolt

‹› 3 Nm

Servotronic solenoid valve (N119)

‹› Removing and installing, refer to => [ Servotronic Solenoid Valve ] See: Removal and Replacement/Servotronic Solenoid Valve

‹› Follow values can be requested (VAS 5051): 

‹› Speed signal

‹› Voltage supply from Vehicle Electrical System Control Module 2 (J520)

‹› Solenoid Valve status

‹› Measured current for Solenoid Valve control

Connect (VAS 5051) and select troubleshooting using "Functions/Component selection".
